turning pointNishan provides a broad range of outpatient consultation, evaluation, and treatment interventions for emotional, psychological, or cognitive problems along with chemical and nonchemical addiction for both men and women. Each person is provided with an initial assessment and an individualized treatment plan.

Our outpatient treatment program takes a holistic approach of different therapies with the most experienced and professional therapists designed to provide long-term care for individuals seeking treatment for drug and alcohol addiction or any other psychological disorder. Treatment in the outpatient program is an intense, focused experience.

The team at Nishan is responsible for assessing and working with each participant to establish an individualized treatment/recovery plan and post–treatment recommendations designed to support ongoing recovery. As part of the outpatient program, each client is also assigned a primary therapist for individual psychotherapy.

Outpatient treatment programs share many similarities with residential treatment programs, but in a differently structured environment. Outpatient programs provide patients with more freedom of movement which allows them to maintain a regular commitment to family, work, and educational responsibilities. Like residential treatment programs, outpatient programs also focus on family support and involvement, and an immediately positive element of outpatient treatment is that patients can automatically apply the lessons learned from outpatient treatment programs to their daily experiences.

We at Nishan offer a range of brief and long-term individual psychotherapy as well as group psychotherapy and ongoing medication management as part of an outpatient treatment plan.
